Sunny warm days in Finland, LEGO bricks and LANG@WORK project final meeting

The team took a summer break, but as well as relaxing in the sun, we were busy writing - research papers, chapters for the toolkit and handbook, developing a strategy for the eCourse modules. We met to discuss the final steps and to reflect on the project. Joensuu welcomed us with unexpectedly warm and sunny days and we enjoyed our stimulating discussions on the UEF campus.

We have already used LEGO bricks to reflect on our team's experiences with language learning and communication. At this meeting we used this tool to reflect on our expectations and collective imagination of the project. We have all learnt a lot, developed confidence in our own language skills and are looking forward to sharing our findings and ways to continue the journey of facilitating communication and increasing tolerance, trust and understanding between people.
